 TRIVIA : At one time Troop 361 was the only Troop to have members whom resided in 3 different states.

Troop 361 is currently chartered with Sunnycrest Methodist Church

The Boy Scouts of America has created the Spirit of the Eagle Award as an honorary posthumous special recognition for a registered youth member who has lost his or her life in a tragic accident or through illness.

This award is bestowed by the National Court of Honor as part of the celebration of life of this young person. The award recognizes the joy, happiness, and life-fulfilling experiences that the Scouting program made in this person's life.

In August of 2002 Troop 361 lost a friend and Scout to Leukemia. Almost earning his Eagle Rank  he was unable to fulfill his Eagle Project. Through his family and friends his project was completed in his memory. Steven will be missed by all who knew him.

Pamela Kay Anderson

In June 2008, Troop 361 lost a good friend and a great supporter of the BSA. Troop 361 Thanks Pamela Anderson for her many years with the Troop, we will all miss you.

She was a Den Leader for Cub Scouts and served on the committee for Troop #361.  In 2007, she received the District Award of Merit from the Boy Scouts for her years of service.
